‘This marks our 25th cohort and we are delighted to welcome this outstanding cohort into our powerful alumni network of more than 1,100 CEOs,” said Steve Balistreri, Treasurer of the Mindshare Organizing Board. “Each year, our Mindshare participants hail from some of the most innovative organizations in the DMV and this year’s class is certainly representative of the momentum and diversity we see in technology companies across this region.”
Mindshare received more than 150 nominations for 2021. The newest Mindshare members completed a series of classes, taught by notable speakers, on building a business as a CEO.
Fifty-two of the leaders accepted into cohort graduated on December 8, 2021 at an event held at Sands Capital in Arlington, VA. Sid Banerjee, Mindshare alum and Chief XM Strategy Officer of Qualtrics was the guest speaker. Mindshare is supported by a board of industry veterans who are committed to building a strong ecosystem for success.
SightGain is the only risk management solution focused on cybersecurity readiness. Unlike typical solutions that estimate readiness using patching statistics and compliance checklists, SightGain tests and measures readiness using real-world attack simulations in a customer’s live environment. These results are used to make improvements across cybersecurity people, process, and technology. Once current readiness is tuned, SightGain combines empiric readiness data with business information and threat intelligence to prioritize long term investments.
Founded in 1997, Mindshare’s mission is to help CEOs from the most promising high tech emerging growth companies in the Greater Washington Metropolitan region build long-term, sustainable companies by providing mentorship, creating business opportunities and a sense of community, and fostering teamwork in a collegial environment. Year after year, the CEOs who graduate from Mindshare reaffirm its enduring value through continued business opportunities and lasting friendships.
