David Neuman joins SightGain’s Board of Advisors

Fulton, MD ‒ July 5, 2022 ‒ SightGain, the only cybersecurity risk management platform that tests and analyzes organizational readiness across people, processes and technology – has added to its Advisory Board comprised of business leaders and cybersecurity experts.

The SightGain Advisory Board will help the company keep closer tabs on the ever-changing cybersecurity industry and help ensure best business practices in delivering  rapid growth. SightGain recently received its seed investment from DataTribe, after beating out several hundred companies and winning the 2020 DataTribe Challenge.

David Neuman has recently joined the SightGain Advisory board:

• David Neuman: David is a sought after Cyber Risk executive.  He recently retired from Dell Technologies as the Business Information Security Officer, having served previously as CISO at iHeartMedia, and a executive Risk consultant at Ernst & Young.

Dave joins the established group of security veterans serving on the SightGain advisory board:

• Chris Gates: Chris is a cybersecurity expert with extensive experience in penetration testing, adversarial simulations, and red teaming. He currently leads the red team at online financial services innovator Robinhood. Chris also worked in cybersecurity for 100x, Cruise, Uber and Facebook. He is a graduate from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.

• Laura Neuman: Laura is an accomplished entrepreneur and CEO. She is currently an advisor to technology startups, a partner with NextGen Venture Partners and an Executive in Residence at the University of Maryland. As CEO of Matrics, Laura raised the venture funding that took the company out of insolvency and it was later sold for $230 million.

• Landon Johnson: Landon is a marketing and business development expert, and currently president of the consulting firm Talant. Previously, he was Chief Marketing Officer at Nehemiah Security, which developed cyber-risk quantification software and was sold to ThreatConnect.
